Book news and a new project

First to the book news! A PDF version of A Primer for DAZ Studio, 2nd edition is being sold at Renderosity.com through my new store there. New store? Yes well that is part of the new project news. I now have a store at Renderosity under the name of EmotionalOutlet3D.

After publishing the 2nd edition of A Primer for DAZ Studio I decided I'd like to try some modeling software. A 3D modeler, Don Webster, who makes models primarily for Vue introduced me to Modo and has been teaching me to model. However I thought that his models would be of interest to DAZ Studio users and he asked me to partner up with him to convert his models for DAZ Studio (for 3Delight and Iray). So I jumped at the challenge. I am now also learning the Substance line of Designer and Painter to help make the Iray textures rock! So far we have made 4 models available for DAZ Studio and have about another half a dozen in the pipeline. Since Don already had a store at Renderosity that is where we will be selling the DAZ Studio models. Don's store name at Renderosity is London224.

In addition we have a new Facebook page for our partnership called Don & Anne's 3D Models & Art where we will be able to keep followers up to date with upcoming new models and projects.
